Bru Dolls
Bru (Bru Jne. & Co.) of Paris and Montreuil-sous-Bois made bisque dolls from 1866 to 1899. Bru dolls are recognized by their strong expressions. Collectors value them because of their beauty, especially baby dolls. Casimir Bru patented ball-and-socket joint in 1869.
